This is the week-long version of our Ouarzazate loop, built for riders who want maximum riding time in the Sahara. You spend three nights in Merzouga, with two complete days to explore the Erg Chebbi dunes, nomadic areas, Dakar-style tracks and remote pistes far from the tourist routes.

About the Route: High Atlas, Saghro, Sahara and Draa Valley
From Ouarzazate, the route climbs through mountain pistes, river crossings and Berber villages with views of the High Atlas to Boumalne Dades. It then crosses the remote volcanic landscapes of the Saghro Mountains and Alnif to reach Merzouga and the Erg Chebbi dunes.
After two days of Sahara riding, old Paris-Dakar tracks lead to Tafraoute Sidi Ali. The final stages cross mountain pistes via Fzou and Tazarine to Nkob, then the Draa Valley, the Anti-Atlas and the palm groves of Skoura back to Ouarzazate.

Tour Itinerary: 7-Day Morocco Enduro Experience – Ouarzazate, Sahara & Atlas
DAY 1: Ouarzazate – Boumalne Dades
Your Morocco enduro adventure begins in Ouarzazate. After breakfast, get ready for your KTM 450 Enduro and ride through mountain pistes, rocky off-road tracks, river crossings and traditional Berber villages.
Enjoy spectacular views of the High Atlas Mountains and remote valleys while experiencing the authentic spirit of Enduro Experiences Morocco, before arriving in Boumalne Dades.

DAY 2: Boumalne Dades – Saghro Mountains – Alnif – Merzouga
Leave the Dades Valley and enter the spectacular Saghro Mountains. Ride across remote rocky pistes, volcanic landscapes, dry riverbeds and challenging off-road tracks.
Continue through Alnif and the desert landscapes of southern Morocco before reaching Merzouga and the legendary Erg Chebbi dunes. This spectacular day combines mountain riding with your first true Sahara motorcycle experience.

DAY 3: Merzouga Sahara Enduro Experience
Today is a full day dedicated to Sahara enduro around Merzouga.
Ride your KTM 450 across the Erg Chebbi dunes, sandy sections, rocky desert tracks and remote Sahara pistes. Explore the desert, discover nomadic areas and experience legendary Dakar-style tracks. It is the perfect day to enjoy different types of terrain and improve your sand-riding skills.

DAY 4: Merzouga Desert Adventure
Enjoy another full day of Merzouga enduro and Sahara experiences.
Explore new desert trails, remote pistes, sandy tracks and rocky plateaus around Erg Chebbi. Ride through spectacular open landscapes and discover areas far away from the main tourist routes. Your KTM gives you the freedom to experience the Sahara from a completely different perspective.

DAY 5: Merzouga – Tafraoute Sidi Ali
Leave Merzouga and head deeper into the remote Moroccan Sahara.
Follow old Paris-Dakar tracks, desert pistes, sandy sections and rocky plateaus towards Tafraoute Sidi Ali. This is a true desert enduro Morocco experience, combining technical riding, navigation and spectacular remote landscapes.

DAY 6: Tafraoute Sidi Ali – Fzou – Tazarine – Nkob
Prepare for another challenging day of Morocco enduro riding. Ride from Tafraoute Sidi Ali towards Fzou, crossing remote mountain pistes and rocky desert terrain.
Continue through the spectacular landscapes around Tazarine before arriving in the traditional village of Nkob. The combination of desert, mountain and technical off-road terrain makes this a fantastic KTM enduro adventure.

DAY 7: Nkob – Skoura – Ouarzazate
The final day of your 7-Day Morocco Enduro Tour takes you through the beautiful Draa Valley and Anti-Atlas landscapes.

Best Time for This Enduro Tour in Morocco
The best season for an enduro motorcycle tour in southern Morocco is from October to April, when daytime temperatures are comfortable for riding. Spring and autumn are ideal. Winter days are sunny and mild, but desert and mountain nights can be cold, so bring a warm layer. Summer (June to August) is very hot in the Sahara and is only recommended for short early-morning rides.
How to Get to Ouarzazate
The tour starts and ends in Ouarzazate, which has its own airport with connections to Casablanca. Ouarzazate is also about a four-hour drive from Marrakech across the High Atlas. We can arrange a private transfer from Marrakech on request.
