About the Route: Atlas Mountains, Sahara and Draa Valley
From Ouarzazate the route climbs through the valleys at the foot of the High Atlas to Boumalne Dades, then crosses the wild volcanic landscapes of the Saghro Mountains towards the Sahara.
Around Merzouga, the Erg Chebbi dunes offer some of the best sand riding in Morocco. The way back crosses wide desert plains and palm-filled oases to Nkob, then the Anti-Atlas Mountains and the magnificent Draa Valley back to Ouarzazate.

Tour Itinerary: 5-Day Morocco Enduro Experience Tour – Ouarzazate to Ouarzazate
DAY 1: Ouarzazate – Boumalne Dades
Your Enduro Experiences Morocco adventure begins after breakfast in Ouarzazate. Ride your KTM 450 Enduro through spectacular mountain tracks, rocky pistes, river crossings and traditional Berber villages, with breathtaking views of the High Atlas Mountains.
This first day is a true Morocco enduro tour, combining technical off-road riding, mountain trails and beautiful landscapes. After lunch along the route, continue through remote valleys to Boumalne Dades for dinner and the night.

DAY 2: Boumalne Dades – Saghro Mountains – Merzouga
Leave the Dades Valley and enter the wild landscapes of the Saghro Mountains. Ride your KTM across remote pistes, volcanic terrain, dry riverbeds and small desert villages.
As you approach Merzouga, the landscape transforms into the spectacular Sahara Desert. Continue towards the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi for a traditional Moroccan dinner and your first night in Merzouga.

DAY 3: Merzouga Sahara Desert Adventure
Today is dedicated to an unforgettable Sahara enduro experience. Ride your KTM 450 across the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes and explore the remote desert tracks around Merzouga.
Discover hidden desert pistes, visit nomadic families, experience the famous Khamlia village and its Gnawa music, and ride Dakar-style desert tracks. This day combines technical riding, fast pistes, sandy sections and breathtaking Sahara landscapes.
Return to Merzouga for your second night.

DAY 4: Merzouga – Nkob
Depart Merzouga and continue your Morocco motorcycle adventure towards Nkob. Follow remote desert trails across wide-open landscapes, dry riverbeds, rocky plateaus and palm-filled oases.
Ride some of the most spectacular off-road trails in southern Morocco, far from the main tourist routes, and arrive in the traditional village of Nkob for dinner and a night in a charming guesthouse.

Best Time for This Enduro Tour in Morocco
The best season for an enduro motorcycle tour in southern Morocco is from October to April, when daytime temperatures are comfortable for riding. Spring and autumn are ideal. Winter days are sunny and mild, but desert and mountain nights can be cold, so bring a warm layer. Summer (June to August) is very hot in the Sahara and is only recommended for short early-morning rides.
How to Get to Ouarzazate
The tour starts and ends in Ouarzazate, which has its own airport with connections to Casablanca. Ouarzazate is also about a four-hour drive from Marrakech across the High Atlas. We can arrange a private transfer from Marrakech on request.
